“Let go or be dragged”—that phrase perfectly describes my experience: struggling through pain, holding on too tightly. Some things weren’t my fault, but many were, as I worked through emotions and trauma, which can be messy. My family’s unwavering support kept me going, even when my journey was hard to understand. Witnessing women heal openly inspired me and brought gratitude; their resilience literally helped me. Life is full of trial and error—we often expect certainty or to stand out, but that’s not reality. No one goes through life without facing challenges. Personal growth often requires us to encounter difficulties, a reality we sometimes overlook today. Many of us strive to avoid pain and seek only comfort, but life isn’t always fair—some people are given tougher circumstances than others. Nevertheless, it’s important to take responsibility for your own healing journey. While some may feel entitled to an easy life, the truth is that you are responsible for shaping your own existence. Ultimately, you gain the most from your own healing process, and you will care about it more deeply than anyone else ever could. You have the power to nurture yourself, honour your inner child, mend emotional wounds, calm your mind, rest, and care for your body—whatever you need to heal and grow is within your reach.

Picture a life where you can’t process emotions—without disappointment, joy loses its depth. Friction and darkness are essential for growth and self-actualization; no one gets through life without challenges. Healing is messy, and pressure isn’t pleasant, but the resulting strength is valuable. Many dream of a life with financial freedom and time to enjoy it—I certainly do. For me, ease comes from minimal financial stress and the freedom to pursue what I love. I’ve turned to entrepreneurship as my path. It’s difficult, but it provides the flexibility I value most. Doubting yourself before you even try is just negotiating against yourself. Self-doubt and fear often hold us back, but remember, those you seek help from are just people, too. If you don’t ask or try, you’ll never know what you could achieve or receive. There are generous people out there, but if you never reach out, you’ll miss out.
